Are you interested in learning about Reiki or other forms of Energy Healing?

Would you like to experience some energy work, massage, body work or healing touch? Perhaps you are a healer yourself, and would like to both give and receive healing energy. This event is designed to be informative and to serve as a healing circle for Reiki energy, massage and other forms of energy work and healing touch. 

I am a Reiki Master and a Touch Artist. In my own private practice I offer Reiki as well as some other types of holistic healing modalities. At our last healing circle, I gave a brief talk about Reiki, and taught the participants some of the Reiki hand positions that are used for self healing.

This time Lakshmi (Gina) will be our guess presenter. She is an energetic healer who has an expertise in Quantum Touch.  She will be speaking about energy and leading us through some interactive techniques. Depending on time, I may also be demonstrating some partner stretching body work techniques that you can try out with one another. I will also be offering several short healing sessions at this event; reiki or partner stretching. 

I have also invited several other healers to join us as well. My intension is to fill the space with healing energy. My intention is that everyone who attends will have the opportunity to experience healing and ideally get in touch with your inner healer. The guest healers will also have an opportunity to briefly describe and share the type of energetic healing that they offer. 

I am not charging a specific fee for tickets to this event, but leaving this open for donations. If you are a healer or participant and would like to make a contribution to help offset the expense of renting the space and promoting this event, it would be most welcome.  A donation basket will be available at the event. The "suggested" donation amount is $15, but any amount is welcome.  

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal live force energy. Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki's ki-energies flow out of the practitioner's body through the palms of the hands while they are touching the recipient's body.

What to Expect During a Reiki Healing Session. You will be asked to lay down on a massage table, couch, bed or possibly even sit upright in a chair. You will be fully clothed except for your shoes. You may also be asked to remove or loosen your belt so that your breathing is not restricted in any way. It is best to choose loose-fitting garments to wear on the day of your appointment. Wearing natural fabrics is best (cotton, wool, or linen). You may also be asked to remove any jewelry (rings, bracelets, pendants, etc.) prior to the session, so consider leaving these items at home.
